Actor Jamie Lee Curtis, the ‘Halloween’ and ‘Freaky Friday’ star, recently took it to social media to give a heartwarming birthday message to her trans daughter Ruby Guest. In the message, Curtis congratulated Ruby on her birthday and criticized the anti-trans legislation that are being enacted across the US.

Curtis’ daughter Ruby came out as trans back in 2020, and Curtis and her husband Christopher Guest talked about their daughter’s transition.
This is what the actress wrote in an Instagram post back then:
“I am proud and grateful to be the parent of a trans child and am sending support to all of the trans families across the US who are being targeted in this moment by conservative legislatures.”
In the post, she called out the US government for being used to go against parents that provide gender-affirming care to their children, calling them ‘anti-American’.
