During Dua Lipa’s first Chinese tour men were ejected from the concert because they were waving a rainbow flag. Visitors stated some people were forcibly removed from their seats by the security officers.

Dua wrote on her Twitter: ‘I’m proud and grateful that you felt safe enough to show your pride at my show. I would love to come back for my fans when the time is right and hopefully see a room full of rainbows.’ A lot of witnesses back up the story of people being ejected due to the flags, while some of them say it happened because ‘they were dancing’.

Homosexuality is not illegal in China but there is a big anti-LGBT trend in the society.
